The famed Salah El Din Citadel that was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD. This was for the purpose in defending Cairo from the crusaders. Paying a visit to this Citadel is something worth coming. After visiting this site, you will then continue going to the Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was architected by the Turkish Yousif Boushnaq. Mohamed Ali was the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled over four decades and five years.

This is Middle East’s oldest bazaar that provides a complete selling of items such as spices, perfumes, and souvenirs. It has what it offers about Egypt. After your shopping escapade, continue the tour in Old Cairo where you will find Hanging Church, Ben Ezra Synagogue, Church of St. Barbara, Church of Abu Serga and back to hotel.
