Tanis and Suez Tour

Get to see a different side of Egypt by joining the Tanis and Suez Tour. This day tour will let you visit some important sites in Egypt like the San El Hagar in Tanis, Bubastis and the Suez Canal.

Tanis and Suez Tour gives you a a piece of ancient Egypt not in the desert but in local towns.  Early morning from your hotel in Cairo, our representative will assist you via private air-conditioned car and drive down to San El Hagar in Tanis.  It is the delta capital of Ramses II.  Drive down to the agricultural road.  Pass on a small town of Zagazig where you will see the ruins of Ancient Egyptian city of Bubastis.  Here the cats was worshipped in the ancient times.  Then enjoy the site of the ruins of Tanis.  Move to Ismailia located at the west bank of Suez Canal to have lunch.  Then a drive back to Cairo via the dessert road, then to your hotel.

Please be reminded that visiting Bubastis and Tanis requires a special permission from the Department of Antiquitites in Cairo.
