8 Days/7 Nights: Luxor to Aswan - Starts Every Saturday
Day 1 - Arrival in Luxor - Start of the Cruise
Upon arrival in Luxor, our representative will meet you at the airport or the train station. After completing embarkation start your tour of the east bank of the Nile River. Start at the Luxor Temple a temple commissioned by Amenophis III on the Ancient Times and was continued by Ramses II. You will be taken back to the Luxor proper to have dinner and entertainment.
Day 2 - West side of Luxor
Enjoy breakfast onboard before starting the tour of the west side of Luxor. Visit famous attractions such as the Valley of the Kings. On the same site is where the famed collections and tomb of King Tut was discovered in the 20th century. After is a visit to the tomb of the first Queen of Egypt in Ancient Times and the Colossi Museum. Lunch shall be served on the site and after which you will have a time of your own to know more about Luxor.
Day 3 - Cruise along the Nile River
While taking your breakfast and later on lunch, you will be sailing to Esna. Upon arrival in Esna join a guided tour to the temple of Esna that was built in honor to Khnum, the known God Creator. Return onboard for dinner as well as overnight accommodation.
Day 4 - Sailing the Nile
Early breakfast on Agatha Christie Dahabiya Nile as it set sail onwards Kom Ombo but you will have a stop at Al Ramady Island to have a barbecue lunch. Continue to Meneh Island, Kom Ombo where you can enjoy a great view of the Silesia Temple and Sandstone quarries from the deck. Then later you will have your dinner on board and an overnight at the Meneh Island.
Day 5 - Horus Temple in Edfu
On the fourth day enjoy a day tour of Edfu, home of the Horus Temple. Experience the horse drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple. Then have dinner back in Agatha Christie Dahabiya Nile as well as overnight accommodation.
Day 6 - The best of the Nile River
Enjoy breakfast onboard before joining a guided tour to the Kom Ombo Temple that honors Sobek – a crocodile god. As well to Horus – the falcon head god who is also known as the god of the morning sun. You will then be taken back to the vessel to set forth Aswan and have another barbecue luncheon when you reach Herdiab Island on the Nile. Then the voyage will continue to Copania Island in Aswan. Dinner will be served on board to enjoy the atmosphere and an overnight for that long fun journey
Day 7 - The Historical City of Aswan
You will have breakfast on the island and after the meal you will board Agatha Christie Nile Cruise to sail further to Aswan. There you will be able to visit the High Dam and the Old Dam and the ' unfinished obelisk', lying in ancient granite quarries of Aswan. After tour to the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This is the temple that was rescued when the water of Lake Nasser rose when the High Dam was under construction. You will then have lunch before visiting the Nubian museum and see some wonderful relics. Before having an overnight sleep, you will be served with a sumptuous dinner in Aswan.
Day 8 - End of the Cruise
Breakfast onboard then disembark from the cruise. Then you will be accompanied by the 123EgyptTours.com representative to either the airport or the train station.
8 Days/7 Nights: Aswan to Luxor - Starts Every Saturday
Day 1 - Start of Tour
When you arrive in Aswan, a magnified ancient city of Egypt, our representative will meet you. After completing embarkation, join a guided tour to the Nubian Museum where authentic Nubian relics are kept. After the tour return onboard for dinner and overnight accommodation.
Day 2 - Day Tour of Aswan
Spend the day touring the city of Aswan where you can enjoy a lot of amazing destinations like the granite quarries of Aswan. Additionally you can also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. It was one of the rescued monuments from the rising waters of the Aswan Dam. After completing the tour, return onboard to sail towards Herdiab Island prior in going to Kom Ombo where you will be spending the night.
Day 3 - Discoveries in Kom Ombo
Kom Ombo is another important town along the Nile River, it is home to the unique dual temples of Sobek and Haroeris. Sobek the crocodile headed god and Haroeris the falcon headed god are honored in this one of a kind temple. After the tour return onboard to enjoy dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - Horus Temple
Set sail early to Edfu. Have your breakfast then enjoy the scenery of the banks in the Nile River. Enjoy a one of a kind lunch in Ramaddeya Island. Then you visit the best preserved temples of Greco – Roman era, that of Horus at Edfu. Experience the horse drawn carriage ride back and forth to the temple. Board the vessel as you will continue viewing the Silsila Temple and Sandstone quarries from the boat. Have your dinner and rest for the remaining time of the night at the island.
Day 5 - Cruising along the Nile River
There will be an early crossing of lock as you set sail to Luxor. So breakfast is serve early on board. But before reaching that historic city, you will have a visit in the temple of Esna. A temple dedicated to the creator god Khnum. Enjoy the facilities onboard as you will be sailing for the rest of the day.
Day 6 - Luxor's East Side
Enjoy the sights in the city of Luxor. The East side holds a lot of amazing destinations just like the Luxor Temple known to have been built by Amenhopis II. Additionally you will also be visiting the Karnak Temple which the largest temple complex in Egypt. After the tour return onboard for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7 - Luxor's West Side
The West Side of Luxor is also home to many sights including the Valley of the Kings. It is here that you will find Kin Tuts tomb, famed for its vast collection of treasures and other relics that helped archeologist find recorded history of Egypt. Then the tour is followed with a visit in the nearby Valley of the Queens, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsuit and the Colossi of Memnon. After your long day tour and adventure, come back to Agatha Christie Dahabiya Nile Cruise to have dinner and a beautiful rest for your last night in Egypt.
Day 8 - End of Cruise
Disembark after breakfast and spend some free time in Luxor before transferring to the airport or the train station.
