The MY Alyssa Nile River Luxury Cruise Ship has 66 outside cabins and 2 deluxe suites all have large panoramic ultraviolet windows, has private baths with bath tubs, hair dryers, and ventilators, colored TV with in-house music and video channels and dedicated movie channels, individually controlled air conditioner in each room, in cabin safety deposit boxes, spacious luggage rack. 4 Days and 3 Nights from Aswan to Luxor (Every Mondays)
Day 1: Arrive Aswan – Start of Tour
Take a 4 days and 3 nights tour downstream from Aswan to Luxor onboard the amazing Alyssa Nile River Luxury Cruiser. Upon arrival at the airport or at the local train station we will have a representative meet you to assist your transfer and embarkation. After lunch join your tour guide for a tour around the sights of Aswan’s ancient wonders including the High Dam, the Granite Quarries, and the Temple of Philae.
Day 2: Kom Ombo and Edfu - Famous Temples along the Nile River
Enjoy breakfast while you cruise down to Kom Ombo a Nile River town that became famous for its proximity to the Dual Temple of two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Get more attractions after lunch onboard when you reach Edfu, the location of the best preserved temple in Egypt the Temple of Horus. For dinner and night accommodation, spend time aboard the ship as you sail to Esna.
Day 3: Arrival in Luxor - The Sights along the East Bank
As you cruise towards Luxor, enjoy some breakfast onboard the Alyssa Nile River Luxury Cruise and prepare for a day tour of Luxor’s East bank. The East side of the Nile River in Luxor has breathtaking sceneries and ruins that will be a sure enjoyment for you. See the temple complexes of Luxor as well as the mega temple complex of Karnak. Return onboard for lunch, refreshments as well as dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Luxor – End of Tour

Day 2: More Sightseeing in Luxor's East Side
The Alyssa Nile River Luxury Cruise provides full board accommodation. So get an early breakfast, and then transfer to the other side of the Nile River in Luxor. Much better than the east side it is home of the vast ancient royal necropolis such as the Valley of the Kings and Queens, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return on board for lunch, afternoon tea and overnight accommodation.
Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo - Two Famous Towns in Egypt
Breakfast on board the Nile cruise vessel then join a guided to visit Horus Temple at Edfu. Right after enjoying these sites sail to Kom Ombo another town along the Nile River where enjoy a tour of the temples of Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing upstream to Aswan where you will spend the night.
Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing - Ancient Southern Stronghold
Aswan is known to be Egypt’s southernmost city. It is said that the rain here is so dense, Nubian people don’t bother much on having a roof constructed for their homes. Day 5: Aswan – End of Tour

Day 2: Discover the East Bank of Luxor

The East Bank of Luxor refers to the central part of Luxor Township, centered on the twin foci of the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. Day 3: Edfu Tours - Home of the Horus Temple
The town of Edfu is located on the west back of the Nile River, having an ancient name of Wetjeset-Hrw, or "The Place Where Horus is extolled." The modern Arabic name of Edfu is derived from the ancient Egyptian name Djeba, or Etbo in Coptic. Djeba meant "Retribution Town", since the enemies of the god were brought to justice therein. Discover more of this town by sailing upstream this town is also home to the temple of Horus.
Day 4: Day tour of Aswan - Famous City of Ancient and Modern Engineering
Enjoy a visit to the High Dam in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk and of course the Philae temple. The Philae temple is built to honor Isis, the last ancient temple built during the classical Egyptian architectural style. Construction began in approx 690 BC. It was moved from its original location on Philae Island, to its new location on Agilkia Island, after the flooding of Lake Nasser. In the afternoon take a felucca ride to the Botanical garden.
Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel
In the morning take an optional tour to Abu Simbel. Abu Simbel temples are two massive temples in Nubia. This complex is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as the "Nubian Monuments," which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae During the afternoon enjoy a visit of the botanical Garden by Felucca. The island is situated on the other side of Elephantine Island on the western bank to the river Nile in Aswan. The island is rich of its plants which were imported from all over the world.
Day 6: Kom Ombo - Home of The Twin Temples
Take an early breakfast and sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek the crocodile headed god of fertility and Haroeris the falcon god. After the day tour sail to Edfu towards Luxor where you will be spending the night.
Day 7: Luxor Tours - Vast Necropolis Area in Luxor's West
Right after breakfast, take a tour of the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor. The west side is location of the Valley of the Kings and Queens a necropolis for the ancient rulers of this mighty country. Day 8: End of the River Cruise
