4 Days and 3 Nights from Aswan to Luxor (Every Monday)

Day 1: Arrive in Aswan – First day of Tour and Cruise

Upon arrival a representative from 123EgyptTours.com will meet you to assist your transfer by an air-conditioned vehicle to the cruise's embarkation area. Join a guided tour to see the city of Aswan. Don’t miss to see the High Dam, the Granite quarries the site of the unfinished obelisk and the temple of Philae with dinner and overnight in Aswan.

 

Day 2: Kom Ombo and Edfu - The Best Sights along the Nile

The Ibeterol Crown Empress Luxury Nile Cruise Ship offers full board meals on your tour. Enjoy breakfast on board the cruise while sightseeing in Kom Ombo to see the temple of Sobek and Haroeris. After the tour you will proceed on sail to Edfu where you can see the Edfu temple of Horus. Enjoy afternoon refreshments then proceed on sail to Esna.

 

Day 3: Luxor Tour - Visiting the East Side

Enjoy a hefty breakfast on board as you sail to the ancient city of Thebes, now known as Luxor. When you arrive, you will be first visiting the East Bank to see the attractions there such as the Karnak and Luxor Temples. You will be transferred back to the Nile cruise ship for afternoon tea and dinner on board with overnight aboard the Crown Empress Nile Cruise in Luxor

 

Day 4: Luxor – End of Tour

Disembark right after breakfast then join another guided tour to the Valley of the Kings, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Enjoy some free time for personal shopping and sightseeing before meeting our representative for transfer to the airport or train station.

5 Days and 4 Nights from Luxor to Aswan (Every Thursday)

Day 1: Arrive Luxor – Start of Cruise

Take a 5 days and 4 nights tour across Upper Egypt of Nile. Upon arrival either at the airport or the train station in Luxor, our representative will meet and assist your transfer for embarkation. After lunch enjoy a tour of the East Bank of the Nile River and see the Karnak  and the  Luxor Temples.

 

Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing - The Best of the West Side

Enjoy breakfast then join a guided tour to see the west side of the Luxor. See the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch and afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu via Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight stay on board the Crown Empress Nile Cruise at Edfu.

 

Day 3: Kom Ombo and Edfu - Famous Towns along the Nile River

Kom Ombo and Edfu are two neighboring towns along the Nile River that is famous for their proximity to some of Egypt’s most famous temples. In Edfu visit Egypt’s most preserved and second largest temple dedicated to Horus. Then move to Kom Ombo where you will be able to visit the temple dedicated to two gods, Sobek and Haroeris. Continue sailing to Aswan for the culmination of the tour.

 

Day 4: Aswan Tour - Egypt's Engineering Miracle

Upon arrival in Aswan enjoy breakfast then move with your guide to see the High dam, the granite quarries where you can see the unfinished obelisk considered to be one of the largest obelisk if it had be finished.

 

Day 5: Aswan – End of Tour

Disembark from the cruise just after breakfast and enjoy some free time in Aswan before transferring to the airport or the train station for departure.

Day 1: Arrive Luxor - Start of the Cruise

Day 2: Luxor Sightseeing - See the Temples in Luxor's East Bank

The city of Luxor was regarded in the Ancient Egyptian texts as city of the scepter and the shrine city. Know more about Luxor's amazing history by joining a tour to the East Bank where two of Eygpt's famous temples are found. See the Luxor Temple a temple complex. Known in the Egyptian language as ipet resyt, or "the southern sanctuary", the temple was dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Chons. After enjoying breakfast onboard, join a tour guide to visit this temple as well as the Karnak temple.

 

Day 3: Tour of Edfu - Location of the Horus Temple

Edfu was the capital of the second nome of Upper Egypt, an important regional center from the Old Kingdom. Edfu is nowadays  most famous for the temple that is situated within its midst, the Horus temple. Return aboard the ship for afternoon tea and some preparations before dinner.

 

Day 4: The City of Aswan - Southern City Delight

Aswan is the major travel hub of the south of Egypt. The area has many things worth exploring like the Elephantine Island, the Philae Temple, the Aswan dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk among the granite quarries. Enjoy a felucca ride to the Botanical garden before returning to the cruise ship for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

The twin temples of Abu Simbel, these complexes of temples were originally carved out of the mountainside during Pharaoh Ramesses II reign in the 13th century BC. It served as a monument for himself and his queen Nefertari, to commemorate his alleged victory at the Battle of Kadesh, and to intimidate his Nubian neighbors. In the afternoon take time to visit the botanical Garden on a felucca ride.

 

Day 6: Kom Ombo Sightseeing

The Temple of Kom Ombo is an unusual double temple built during the Ptolemaic dynasty in the Egyptian town of Kom Ombo. The building is unique because its 'double' design meant that there were courts, halls, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods. From Aswan get on an early sail to Kom Ombo, visit the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. After the tour return onboard for the nightly entertainment and an overnight aboard the Crown Empress Nile Cruise in Luxor.

 

Day 7: Luxor Tours

Luxor was the ancient city of Thebes, the great capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom and the glorious city of the god Amon-Ra. After breakfast learn more about this ancient and prosperous city by going at the west bank where you can see the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. Return on board for free time, refreshments and of course dinner while on board the cruise.

 

Day 8: End of the River Cruise

For the culmination of your tour, disembark from your cruise right after breakfast and enjoy some free time before then you will be transferred to Luxor airport or station for departure.
