4 Days and 3 Nights from Aswan to Luxor (Every Friday)


Day 1: Arrive Aswan start of the Nile Cruise

Whatever means of transportation to Aswan, either at airport or at the local train station, a 123egypttours.com representative will welcome and you for transfer via a private Air conditioned vehicle to the Amarco Wheelchair Nile Cruise Ship for embarkation. After lunch you will be accompanied by an Egypt tour guide to start a day tour of Aswan. Aswan is the site of Old Dam built at the start of the century. South of this dam will be the majestic Temple of Philae, and even further to the south is the Aswan High Dam Dinner and overnight accommodation aboard the cruiser while in Aswan.

 

Day 2: Kom Ombo and Edfu Attractions

Enjoy a morning meal on board the while sailing to the town of Kom Ombo. Kombo Ombo is home to the famous Temple of two gods named Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haeroris, the falcon god. After a morning tour, you will return to the ship to have lunch while sailing towards the city of Edfu to visit the Temple of Horus. Enjoy a cup of tea in the afternoon while you sail to Esna. Your dinner and overnight accommodation will be aboard the Amarco Nile River Cruise while staying in Edfu.

 

Day 3: Attractions in Luxor

Once you are done enjoying breakfast sail until after lunch towards Luxor, take the time to go around the cruise as you await arrival. When you get to the East Bank of Luxor you will be accompanied for a tour of the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Which are both important sites of ancient worships and rituals. Return to the Nile cruise ship for an afternoon tea and a special dinner on board with an overnight stay aboard the Nile River cruise ship in Luxor.

 

Day 4: End of Cruise and Luxor Day Tour

The end of your cruise, you will be disembarking after breakfast. Take time to visit the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is situated beneath the cliffs at Deir el Bahari and the impressive Colossi Memnon. After a day’s tour you will have some free time for shopping personal items and souvenirs, just before transferring to Luxor airport or train station for departure or return flights.

Day 1: Arrive in Luxor for the start of the Cruise

We will have one of our representative well and assist upon your arrival whether by plane or train at Luxor. Upon meeting transfer via a private air-conditioned vehicle to the cruise to start a 5 days and 4 nights cruise along the mighty Nile River. In the afternoon you join a personal tour guide to visit Eastern Bank of the Nile, the site of Karnak and Luxor temples. Return to the cruise for some afternoon tea, dinner, and overnight accommodation aboard the vessel while in Luxor.

 

Day 2: Enjoying the sights in Luxor

Have an early breakfast and watch some early action of wildlife surrounding the Nile before transferring to the other side of River in Luxor still aboard the Amarco Wheelchair Ship Cruise. The Western Part of the River Nile in Luxor is a sight of many amazing attractions and ancient burial grounds such as the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Mortuary Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and of course the Colossi Memnon, two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Get back your luxury cruise for lunch and afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Dinner and overnight stay on board the Nile cruise vessel at Edfu.

 

Day 3: Day tour of Edfu and Kom Ombo

Breakfast aboard the Nile cruise Ship, and then join your guide to see the famous Horus Temple at Edfu so far the best preserved temple along the Nile. This temple is dedicated to Horus, the falcon headed god, built during the reigns of six Ptolemies. After visiting Edfu sail towards south to Kom Ombo while lunch on board the cruise. Day 5: End of Trip

Day 1: Arrival Luxor and onboard the ship

The same person will assist your transfer via a private air-conditioned vehicle to the cruise for embarkation on the cruise just before lunch time. After fully settling in, towards the afternoon you will be accompanied by a tour guide to visit East Bank of the Nile, where you will see the Karnak and Luxor temples. Return to the cruise for some afternoon tea, dinner, and overnight accommodation aboard the vessel while in Luxor.

 

Day 2: Experience Luxor’s Western Bank

Enjoy morning meals before transferring to the other part of the Nile River in Luxor. Day 4: Day Trip in Aswan

See the majestic and enigmatic city of Aswan in the southernmost part Egypt also known as its gateway to the rest of Africa. Upon arrival take time to visit to the famous attractions like the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the majestic Philae temple, you will also have enough time to take a felucca ride to the Botanical garden and return to the ship for an overnight in Aswan on board the Nile cruise ship

 

Day 5: Optional Tour to Abu Simbel

This day is dedicated for optional tours. In the morning hop on an optional tour to Abu Simbel. The Abu Simbel temples are two massive rock temples south of Egypt seen on the western bank of Lake Nasser. UNESCO World Heritage made this attraction a part of their sanctuary known as the "Nubian Monuments, which run from Abu Simbel downriver to Philae. In the afternoon visit the botanical Garden by Felucca. Spend the night aboard the Nile cruise vessel while docked in Aswan.

 

Day 6: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu

This day will be the start of your return journey towards Luxor enjoy a day sailing to Kom Ombo, and visit the Twin Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek Temple is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the falcon god Haroeris. In ancient times, Kom Ombo stood on an important crossroads between the caravan route from Nubia and trails from the gold mines in the eastern desert this is during the reign of Ptolemy VI Philometor. After going around Kom Ombo, return to ship to sail for Edfu where you will spend the night aboard Nile cruise vessel.

 

Day 7: Visit of Luxor’s Eastern Bank

Once you are back in the city of Luxor get on a guided tour to visit East Bank of the Nile just after breakfast, where you will see the Karnak Temple and Luxor temple known also as the ipet resyt, or "the southern sanctuary", the Luxor temple was dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Chons. The Karnak Temple is a massive structure begun by Pharaoh Ramses II for a main place of worship for the god Amun. Return to the cruise for some afternoon tea, dinner, and overnight accommodation aboard the vessel while in Luxor.

 

Day 8: End of Cruise

After Breakfast you can disembark from the cruise. Then you will be transferred to Luxor airport or station for departure.
