Cabin and Amenities

With Sonesta Moon Goddess you will enjoy 48 standard cabins & 2 presidential suites which open into a private balcony. Each room boast of a centralized air-conditioning with individual controls and private bathroom with full-size bath tubs. There is an available safe deposit box in each room including internal telephone and fax, an internal telephone and fax machine, color television and radio with music channels and a mini bar. Enjoy an in-room dining available until midnight.

 

Dining and Entertainment

The ship includes common rooms for entertainment such as a main dining room, a enormous lounge, sun deck bar, Barbecue Area on deck, Outdoor Swimming Pool with Bar Service, Fitness and Recreation Areas, Jogging Track and a Spacious Gym. The ship includes nightly entertainment, and fully purified water, filtered and softened before distribution.

4 Days and 3 Nights from Luxor to Aswan (Every Saturday)


Day 1: Start of Cruise

Upon arrival at Luxor airport or at the local train station, a 123egypttours.com representative will meet and assist you. From there you will be transferred via a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Sonesta Moon Goddess Nile Cruiser for the start of the cruise at 11am. Lunch will be served onboard before starting a day tour in the afternoon with a personal tour guide. Start by visiting the Eastern Bank of the River Nile, home of the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Dinner and overnight accommodation aboard the cruise ship while docked in Luxor.

 

Day 2: Day Tour of Luxor’s West Bank

Enjoy a delectable breakfast aboard Sonesta Moon Goddess Nile Cruiser. Then visit the western part of the Nile River in the city of Luxor. You can enjoy a tour in the Valley of Kings, the Valley of Queens, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir, El- Bahari, and the Colossi Memnon. Then sail to Esna aboard the Nile River Ship. You can have a complimentary afternoon tea. And enjoy dinner and overnight stay onboard.

 

Day 3: Tours of Edfu and Kom Ombo

You will have breakfast on board as you arrive in the city of Edfu. There you can visit the Temple of Edfu. The temple, dedicated to the falcon god Horus, was built in the Ptolemaic period between 237 and 57 BCE. Then you will travel to the city of Kom Ombo. On your way, lunch will be served on board the Cruise ship. As you arrive, you can visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. This temple is dedicated to two gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility. While, the northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Haroeris, also known as Horus the Elder. Then as you return to the Nile River Ship, You can have an afternoon cup of tea, dinner, and overnight stay in Aswan.

 

Day 4 – Day tour in Aswan

Enjoy your breakfast on board. Then check-out after breakfast at 8:00 a.m. There you can first visit the High Dam. The High Dam is the general name for two dams, both of which are situated across the Nile River in Aswan, Egypt. After the 50s, the name is now commonly referred to the High Dam, which is actually the larger and newer of the two. The Old Aswan Dam, or Aswan Low Dam, was first completed in 1902. Next stop is the Temple of Philae. The Temple was dedicated to the goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus. These three gods dominate ancient Egyptian culture and their story possesses all the drama of a Shakespearian tragedy. After which you may visit the unfinished Obelisk.  This Obelisk is the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt in Aswan.

5 Days and 4 Nights from Aswan to Luxor (Every Tuesday)


Day 1: Arrive Aswan and Start of Cruise

As you arrive at Aswan airport or train station, a 123egypttours.com representative will confront you and will welcome you upon your arrival. Then you will be transported by a private Air conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise ship for embarkation just before lunch. You will be accompanied by your Egypt tour guide for an amazing tour on the Nile by Felucca around Kitchener's Island and Agha Khan Mausoleum. All meals will be served throughout the day and overnight stay aboard the ship while docked in Aswan.

 

Day 2: Day Tour of Aswan, Kom Ombo and Edfu

After breakfast enjoy a day tour of Aswan, first stop is at the High Dam general name for two dams, both of which are situated across the Nile River in Aswan, Egypt, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis, the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus. After which you can sail to Kom Ombo while having lunch aboard the extravagant liner.  Visit the temple in Kom Ombo shared by the two gods Sobek god of fertility and Haroeies the falcon god. Sail further north to Edfu while having afternoon tea and dinner the night will be spent in Edfu.

 

Day 3: Day tour in Edfu Tour and arrival in Luxor

After breakfast take a day tour and visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, considered to be one of the most beautiful and preserved Temples in Egypt. After the tour sail north to Luxor while enjoying your lunch and dinner on board.

 

Day 4: Day tour in Luxor

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before transferring to the West Bank of the River Nile. While there you can enjoy a day’s visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari and the enormous Colossi Memnon. Return to the cruise for your lunch and prepare for another site visit this time to Karnak and Luxor Temples. Stay aboard the Nile Cruise vessel in Luxor.

 

Day 5: End of Cruise

After breakfast, disembark from your cruise. Then you will be transferred to Luxor airport or station for departure.
