4 Days and 3 Nights: Aswan to Abu Simbel - Starts Every Friday
Day 1: Arrive in Aswan – Start of Cruise
As you arrive in Aswan, hop aboard the MS Eugenie Lake Nasser Cruise ship for the start of this cruise. Your lunch will be served onboard. Visit the temple in the area such as Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali. Enjoy a enchanting visit to the Kiosk of Kertassi, This charming kiosk has now been moved to the site of New Kalabsha in Southern Egypt but "once stood to the entrance to the sandstone quarries" of Qertassi. As afternoon and evening approaches enjoy onboard meals and entertainment before resting for the day aboard the cruised while docked in Aswan.
Day 2: Sights at Wadi es-Sebua
As you start the cruise you will sail to Wadi el-Sebua, enjoy cocktail onboard while passing to the Tropic of Cancer. Lunch will also be served onboard. When you arrive, visit the Wadi es-Sebua temple, or Valley of the lions which has one impressively large temple spéos of Ramesses II. While there do not miss the chance to visit the temples of Dakka and Meharakka. Return onboard for dinner, nightly entertainment and overnight stay.
Day 3: Tour around Nubia – Kasr Ibrim and Amada
After breakfast visit the temple of Amada, which is the oldest Egyptian temple in Nubia and was first constructed by pharaoh Thutmose III of the 18th dynasty and dedicated to Amun and Re-Horakhty, and the Temple of Derr, It is the only rock-cut temple in Nubia which was constructed by Ramesses II on the right (or east) bank of the Nile and used to stand at el-Derr. As well the tomb of Penout, This tomb was the only Nubian tomb saved from about 500 that were left to be covered by water.
From there visit the citadel of Kasr Ibrim (this tour is conducted from the ships sundeck as entrance to the site is not allowed). Then sail to Abu Simbel, where you can lunch will be served onboard. Take time to see the Abu Simbel temples, where you attend an optional Sound & Light show at the Abu Simbel temples. Candlelight dinner and overnight stay will be onboard the cruise ship.
Day 4: Abu Simbel – End of Tour
Enjoy breakfast onboard the luxury cruise then disembark. You will have some free time for sightseeing in Abu Simbel or for personal shopping.
5 Days and 4 Nights: Abu Simbel to Aswan - Starts Every Monday
Day 1: Arrive Abu Simbel
Upon arrival at Abu Simbel, our representative will meet you for embarkation aboard the MS Eugenie Lake Nasser cruise ship for the start of your cruise. Enjoy lunch as it is served onboard. Enjoy an optional tour of the Abu Simbel Temples of Ramesses II and Nerfertari. Dinner and overnight stay will be aboard the Lake cruise ship.
Day 2: Tour Kasr Ibrim
Get an early morning meal and lunch onboard as you sail to Kasr Ibrim. Enjoy a tour of Kasr Ibrim aboard the ship’s sundeck as entrance to the site is not allowed. Kasr Ibrim is an archeological site which is originally a major city but became isolated when there were floodind due to the construction of the Aswan High Dam. Your dinner and overnight stay will be onboard the Lake cruise ship.
Day 3: Amada and Wadi El Seboua
For this day, sail towards Amada to see the temples of Amada and Derr, do not miss to see as tomb of Penout, the former viceroy of Nubia. Lunch will be served onboard while sailing to Wadi es-Sebua. Wadi es-Sebua is the site where you can see the temples of Dakka and Meharakka. Dinner and overnight stay will be aboard at Wadi el-Sebua.
Day 4: Arrive Aswan
Sail to the city of Aswan while enjoying onboard cocktails as you cross the Tropic of Cancer. Lunch and refreshments will be served on board. Upon arrival you can visit the Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Dinner and overnight stay will be aboard in Aswan.
Day 5: End of Tour
Enjoy a delectable breakfast onboard then proceed with disembarkation. You can have some time to enjoy Aswan to yourself or for shopping.
