4 Days and 3 Nights: Abu Simbel to Aswan - Starts Every Friday


Day 1: Arrive Abu Simbel

When you arrive in Abu Simbel, we will have our representative meet you to assist for embarkation. Enjoy a 4 days and 3 nights tour of the Lake Nasser Cruise aboard the MS Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise. Lunch will be served after embarkation. After lunch, visit the temple of Abu Simbel. Then, you can enjoy a non-compulsory lights and sounds show. Your overnight stay will be in Abu Simbel onboard the cruise ship.

 

Day 2: Day Tour Kasr Ibrim & Amada

Breakfast will be served aboard the cruise ship as you sail to Kasr Ibrim. When in Kasr Ibrim, the tour will be conducted from the ship’s sun deck as direct entrance to the site is not allowed. Enjoy sailing to Amada, while feasting on a delectable lunch. As you arrive, visit the temples of  temples of Amada and Derr also the tomb of Penout. Then enjoy a sailing to Wadi es-Sebua. Dinner and overnight stay will be aboard the Lake cruise ship.

 

Day 3: Wadi El Seboua

Prepare early for a visit to Wadi es-Sebua also known as the Valley of the Lions, where the temples of temples of Dakka and Meharakka were relocated due to the flooding of Lake Nasser. Return onboard as lunch will be served on the cruise ship. While sailing to the city of Aswan, enjoy your dinner and overnight on board.

 

Day 4: Aswan Sightseeing – End of Tour

Upon arrival in Aswan, disembark from the cruise and take time to see sites such as the Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi before transfer for departure.

5 days and 4 Nights: Aswan to Abu Simbel - Starts Every Monday


Day 1: Arrive Aswan

When you arrive at Aswan airport or Train Station we will have our representative meet you to assist you for embarkation. Lunch will be served aboard MS Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise, then join a guided tour the Kalabsha temple, Beit El Wali and the Kiosk of Kertassi. Afternoon tea is served in the lounge. Dinner and overnight aboard the Lake cruise.

 

Day 2: Cruise to Wadi El Seboua

This day sail to Wadi El Seboua while having breakfast, lunch, dinner and daily entertainment onboard. Enjoy onboard amenities whole day while passing through the Tropic of Cancer.

 

Day 3: Sights Wadi El Seboua and Amada

Enjoy breakfast on board then join a guided tour to the relocation site of Wadi El Seboua relocated some 4KM away from its original site. When there see the temples of temples of Dakka and Meharakka. Return onboard for lunch on board while sailing to Amada. When in Amada get the chance to visit the ttemples of Amada and Derr, don’t miss a chance to see the tomb of Penout. Dinner and overnight aboard the Lake cruise.

 

Day 4: Kasr Ibrim and arrival in Abu Simbel

This day continue sailing to citadel of Kasr Ibrim, an archeological site known to have been the only one to survive the flooding. Right after breakfast visit the citadel of Kasr Ibrim, but onboard the ship's sun deck as entrance to the site is not permitted. Enjoy the rest of the day sailing to Abu Simbel. Once in Abu Simbel enjoy visits to the Temples of Abu Simbel and candlelight dinner on board the cruise while docked in Abu Simbel.

 

Day 5: End of Tour – Abu Simbel

Disembark right after breakfast and enjoy some free time to roam around Abu Simbel before transferring to the airport or the train station.

8 Days and 7 nights Round Trip Aswan Tour


Day 1: Arrive Aswan

When you get in to Aswan airport or train station, a representative from 123EgyptTours.com will be meeting and assisting you. Transfer for embarkation to MS Movenpick Prince Abbas Lake Nasser Cruise. Spend the rest of the day enjoying onboard amenities, as well as lunch, dinner, cocktails and overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Kalabsha Temple

Enjoy some early morning meal on board, and then pay a visit Kalabsha Temple, an ancient Egyptian temple that was originally located at Bab al-Kalabsha. The temple of Kalabsha was the largest free-standing temple of Egyptian Nubia (after Abu Simbel) to be moved and erected at a new site. Enjoy an all day free time and leisure onboard while sailing to Wadi El Seboua.

 

Day 3: Wadi El Seboua and Amada

Get early breakfast on board followed by a morning visit to Wadi El Seboua the relocation site of two New Kingdom temples, the temples of Dakka and Meharakka. Return onboard for lunch while sailing to the new site of the Temple of Amada, rock-cut temple of Derr, and the tomb of Penout. These three sites were relocated to avoid the Lake Nasser flooding some 2.5 kilometers away from its original site. Return onboard and sail to Kasr Ibrim while having dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 4: Kasr Ibrim

This morning take time to discover the citadel of Kasr Ibrim. The tour will be conducted onboard as direct entrance to the site is prohibited. Kasr Ibrim used to be a major Nubian City however was relocated and completely abandoned when due to the rising waters of Lake Nasser. Sail farther going to Abu Simbel where you can enjoy an amazing optional sound and light show as well as candlelight dinner on board.

 

Day 5: Temples of Abu Simbel

All day will be docked near the Temples of Abu Simbel where you can get an optional tour to see this amazing and widely recognized temple. A temple created by Ramesses II for himself and his favorite wife Nefartari, this is one of the most beautiful and amazingly constructed temple of the ancient times.

 

Day 6: Temples of Amada & Wadi El Seboua

Have some early morning meal while sailing to Amada. The Temple of Amada, the oldest Egyptian temple in Nubia, was first constructed by pharaoh Thutmose III of the 18th dynasty and dedicated to Amun and Re-Horakhty. This site is also the location of the temple of Derr as well as the tomb of Penout. In the afternoon enjoy a relaxing afternoon sail to Wadi El Seboua. Dinner and overnight aboard the Lake cruise.

 

Day 7: Sailing to Aswan
