Itinerary

After your arrival, our representative will pick you up from the port of Alexandria in front of the cruise exit door. Then you will be transported via air-conditioned vehicle to Cairo, “Egypt’s capital”, for approximately 2 ½ hours of travel.

First stop will be the ancient capital of Memphis, considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years and had great architectural achievements; it is believed that Memphis was the largest city in the world from its foundation until around 2250 BC. When in Memphis, do not miss to see the vast necropolis and the temples that abound the area.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then pay a visit to Dahshur, located to the Southwest of Memphis some 10 kilometers away. Get to move towards South of Sakkara to see the Bent Pyramid and the Red Pyramid both has never been completed. Archaeological research has shown it to date to the 4th Dynasty, but it is not clear for whom it was built. Transfer back to Alexandria to rejoin your Cruise.
