Day 1: Welcome to Egypt land of the Pharaohs
Start your Grand Egypt Desert Tour with your relaxing flight to Egypt. Once at Cairo International Airport our reliable 123EgyptTours.com representative will welcome and assist you. A transfer is arranged so you won’t have to worry about how to get to your hotel. Overnight accommodation is arranged for you in Cairo.
Day 2: The Visit to the Great Pyramids
After breakfast is served at the hotel, see first capital of Egypt, Memphis. From there the your tour of magnificent Egyptian desert will proceed to Sakkara Complex the location of Step Pyramid designed for King Zoser by the architect Imhotep.
Lunch will be served at Al Ezba Restaurant. Afterward sit back and enjoy your visit via a private air-conditioned vehicle to the Great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. Then take a look at the one of the most famous structures in the world the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple fronting it. Overnight accommodation is arranged in Cairo.
Day 3: Discover Bahariya Oasis
The Great Egypt desert adventure continues right after you have a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, experience the thrill by traveling via a 4x4 vehicle to the Bahariya Oasis. Walk around the great oasis and get a first hand view of the palms and fruits surrounding the area. A local tour is also available to take you to the hill top ruin ‘the English House’, including the Temple of Alexander and the Golden Valley of the Mummies. Finally complete the day by spending the night in Bahariya.
Day 4: The magic of the White & Black Desert
Continue your journey to the Black Desert and the exotic Hot Springs of the Valley of El Haize. Next, witness the quartz crystal formations at the Crystal Mountain and then the amazing volcanic rocks and the petrified wood at the Valley of Agabat.
Feel the vastness of the desert by getting on a safari and camping adventure to the White Desert. When you get there, tour to the amazing rock formations, watch the sunset and safely camp the night under the Great Egyptian Sky. Bedouin Dinner will be served at the desert.
Day 5: Grand Oasis: Farafra & Dakhla
See the palm groves, the hot springs, the traditional mud brick houses of the old village and the one-of-a-kind mud museum by a local artist Badr’s as you continue your adventure of the amazing deserts of Egypt at the Farafra Oasis. The rest of the day will be a visit to Dakhla Oasis, covered by rose-colored cliffs; you will also spend the night in this lush oasis.
Day 6: Visit the Lush Kharga Oasis
Just when you thought that is just one of the many other desert oasis, then think again. Before getting to the amazing hot springs of Kharga, warp into time as you visit the Roman temple Deir El Hagar and the burial ground Mezzawaqqah. Reach the Kharga Oasis and continue your grand Egyptian desert adventure by visiting Qasr el Labeke the Roman fortress built on the old caravan route and also its ethnic museum.
Afterwards, feel the history be visiting two nearby attractions; the Roman Temple of Hibis and the Christian Cemetary with its Mural painted chapels in Bagawat. Lastly, just before the end of the day tour, see the Baris Oasis and the Temple of Dush dedicated to Isis and Serapis. Accommodations are arranged for your night stay at Kharga.
Day 7: Luxor the World Greatest Open-Air Museum
After breakfast is served, relax as you travel in style in an air-condition vehicle to the world’s greatest open-air museum, Luxor. An overnight accommodation is arranged at a Luxor hotel for you.
Day 8: The Historical Luxor & Karnak Temples
Start your day with a breakfast at the hotel, right before you will be transferred for embarkation to a 5 Star Luxury Nile Cruise just before lunch. In the afternoon a tour guide will lead you to a tour of Nile’s famous East Bank where you will get to see the Luxor and Karnak Temples. You will then spend afternoon tea and the night stay aboard the 5 Star Nile Cruise while on dock in Luxor.
Day 9: Next Stop: Luxor’s West Bank
The next part of your Grand Egypt tour will be after you enjoy a delicious breakfast to the Valley of the Kings at the West Bank of the Nile River in Luxor. You will be able to experience firsthand the Temple of Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari then continue by visiting the nearby attraction of Colossi Memnon. Return to the luxury cruise where lunch and afternoon tea will be served while sailing to Edfu passing through the Esna Lock. Dinner will be served as well as overnight accommodation at the cruise while on dock at Edfu.
Day 10: The Temples at Edfu & Kom Ombo
Right after finishing breakfast aboard the luxury cruise, you will be accompanied by a certified Egypt tourist guide your next visit will be to Edfu to see the Horus Temple. After completing the tour of this famous temple, you will be transported to Kom Ombo to see the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Horoeris, with lunch aboard the cruise ship. Dinner will be served onboard the cruise vessel while sailing for Aswan.
Day 11: Sightseeing at Aswan
There is no shortage for places and attractions to see at Aswan. Get to see the High Dam, The Unfinished Obelisk and the majestic Philae Temple. Don’t forget to see the Botanical garden by felucca.Stay overnight in Aswan on board the Nile cruise ship.
Day 12: Travel Back to Egypt’s Capital
