Day 1: Arrival Cairo
Arrive in Cairo to discover the contrasts of this ancient city, our representative will meet you at Cairo international airport and will be accompanied to your hotel for check in with free welcome drink. Tonight, relax or enjoy optional evening of an out of this world entertainment as we go to the Pyramids for the incredible Sound and Light Spectacular. Afterward you will return to your hotel and then the night is at leisure.
Day 2: Cairo Sightseeing Tours
Breakfast at hotel then join your guide as you will be touring the Step Pyramids and the Fine Tombs at Sakkara, additionally you will also be visiting the Statue of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx at Memphis that was the ancient capital of Egypt during the old kingdom. From there you will be moved into the Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinus and the almighty sphinx, the royal human head on a lion's body then to the valley temple, two awesome megalithic temples, known as the Sphinx Temple.
Lunch en route at specialty restaurant nearby the pyramids with free time for shopping. For those who did not get to go the option will be given tonight to relax or join us for another optional evening of out of this world entertainment as we go to the Pyramids for the incredible Sound and Light Spectacular (optional) Return back to your hotel for relaxation, free time and overnight stay.
Day 3: Cairo Sightseeing Tours / Aswan
After breakfast at your hotel you will be taken for a guided tour to the Egyptian Museum of antiquities that was built in the neo-classical style by the French architect Marcel Dourgenon the museum housing over 120,000 objects from different Pharaonic. One of the major collection here is the treasures of the child king Tutankhamen. Proceed to the citadel of Saladin and Mohammed Ali`s Alabaster Mosque.
Lunch en route at good quality restaurant in Cairo downtown .Then drive to the Old Cairo to visit the Coptic churches and the fortress of Babylon where the holy family took a refuge. Another interesting parts of this area are the Church of St Barbara and St. George's church. Proceed to the Islamic Cairo and Khan El Khalili bazaar where you can get great souvenirs. After a day of exciting adventure transfer via an air-conditioned vehicle to the Cairo Airport to fly to the city of Aswan where you will be spending the night.
Day 4: Aswan / Abu Simbel / Aswan
Enjoy breakfast before enjoying a personal time around Aswan. You may also opt to join an the tour to Abu Simbel temples to discover the magnificent monuments that were built by Egypt’s great Pharaoh Ramses II. Return to Aswan with free time at leisure and overnight stay.
Day 5: Aswan Nile Cruise Tour
Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan. Then you will be transferred to embark your Nile River Cruise ship. In the afternoon you will be accompanied by your Egyptologist guide for an exciting tour to the world famous High Dam that was an engineering miracle when it was built in the 1960s.It contains 18 times the material used in the Great Pyramid of Cheops.
Continue to the granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptian pharaohs with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. The quarries still hold the famous Unfinished Obelisk. Hop on motorized boat to visit the Island of Agilika to visit the majestic Philae temple that was dedicated to the Goddess Isis. During the Evening enjoy an optional light and sound show at the Temple of Philae. Return to your ship for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Nile Cruise Holiday
Before breakfast onboard your Nile cruise you may enjoy the amazing sunrise view from your river cruise in Aswan. Visit the town of Kom Ombo to see the temple the crocodile-headed God Sobek and the Falcon headed god Haeroris. Return onboard after the tour to cruise to Edfu to enjoy a horse drawn carriage to the famous Edfu temple also know as the temple of Horus. This is the largest and most perfectly preserved of all the Nile temples, back to the Nile cruise by the same way to sail to Luxor with lunch, afternoon tea and dinner aboard your cruise and overnight stay.
Day 7: Nile Cruise Holiday
Breakfast onboard the Nile cruise, and then you will be moved into the West Bank of the river Nile to visit the two colossal statues of Amenhotep III (Colossi of Memnon), and then visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs discovered, those tombs were carved deep into the desert rock, richly decorated and filled with treasures for the afterlife of the pharaohs.
Continue the tour to visit the Hatshepsut temple at El Deir El Bahari, this impressive temple dedicated to the Queen Hatshepsut the only female pharaoh. It rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces and merges with the sheer limestone cliffs that surround it. From there return to the cruise for lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. You can also opt for a sound and light show in Karnak Temple.
Day 8: Nile Cruise / Sharm El Sheikh
Breakfast onboard the cruise, and then you will accompanied by our English Egyptologist expert guide to visit Karnak Temple, the largest place of worship ever built. Its ancient name Ipet-isut means “the most sacred of places.” The temple, or, more correctly, the complex of temples, was built over more than two thousand years by generation after generation of pharaohs. Within the complex, the great “Hypostyle Hall” is an incredible forest of giant pillars .
You will then you will be transferred to the majestic Luxor temple which built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II for ritual and festivals that is dedicated to the god Amun with free time for shopping in Luxor. After completing the tour transfer to Luxor airport to fly to Sharm El Shiek with direct transfer to your hotel.
Day 9: Sharm El Sheikh Holiday / Bedouin Safari
Breakfast at your hotel in Sharm el sheikh with a free time to enjoy the beach. Or you can join a fantastic optional excursion to a Bedouin tea and camel ride in Sinai desert with peaceful overnight stay at your hotel in Sharm el sheikh.
Day 10: Sharm El Sheikh / Ras Mohammed National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Ras Mohamed National Park for snorkeling / a fantastic day out to the red sea underwater Marin life and then transfer back to the hotel in Sharm el sheikh.
Day 11: Sharm El Sheikh / St. Catherine Monastery
After breakfast you will be accompanied by your guide and driver to visit the St. Catherine Monastery and Moses Mountain in Sinai then transfer back to the hotel in Sharm el sheikh.
Free time at leisure in Sharm El Sheikh with overnight at your hotel.
Day 12: Sharm / Aqaba (Wadi Rum) / Petra
You will be met by our representative at your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh and transferred by air-conditioned van to Taba Boarder. On arrival in Aqaba Port in Jordan you will be met by another representative who will assist you through immigration and then you will depart Aqaba for Petra. Along the way you will stop to explore Wadi Rum, where you will enjoy an exhilarating 4X4 ride visiting the Wadi Um Eshreen, the Moving Sand, Al Khazali, Abu Aineh and Rum Mountain. We will see the trail of Lawrence of Arabia and the famous Red Mountains. Afterward we proceed north to the spectacular lost city of Petra . Overnight in Petra.
Day 13: Petra Tours
Breakfast at your hotel in Petra and then you will be accompanied by your English speaking guide to explore Petra. It is a "Rose-Red City" with ancient and complete urban infrastructure including temples, baths, private houses, high places, paved streets, public buildings, markets, theatres, reservoirs and cisterns.
Its entrance, a one-kilometre long fissure through the towering cliffs, "The Siq", provides a dramatic approach and induction to the city. The narrow winding path through the canyon dramatically opens up to expose the awesome facade of the Elkhazneh, "the treasury", with lunch at specialty restaurant of international and local Jordanian cuisines then transferred your hotel in Petra for overnight stay.
Day 14: Petra (Dead Sea) Amman
After breakfast depart Petra and continue northwards to Amman with stops to visit the Dead Sea, and the Christian town of Madaba where we will visit St. George's Apostle Church , home to a stunning mosaic map of the ancient Middle East . Continue to nearby Mount Nebo where we will visit the church on top of the hill from where, it is believed, Moses viewed the Promised Land. Continue to Amman and check into your hotel for overnight in Amman.
Day 15: Amman /Home
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport in Amman for final departure.
