Day 1: Welcome to  Egypt

Welcome to Cairo a city of contrasts; see the amazing parts of the new and ancient in this city. On your arrival at Cairo International Airport; a representative from 123EgyptTours.com will be welcoming and assisting you get inside Egypt. After that, you will be transferred via a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Four Seasons Nile Plaza where a reservation has been made before under your name.

 

Day 2: Giza Plateau Tour

After breakfast at your hotel you will be accompanied by your tour guide to take you to Memphis, Egypt’s ancient capital and home of the great Saqqara. From Memphis move back towards Cairo going to the Giza Plateau, site of Egypt’s greatest attraction one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. There you will be visiting the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. Take a trip to the amazing Sphinx and a short stop at the valley temple facing the great sphinx. This tour will also include lunch break. The night will be spent in your hotel in Cairo.

 

Day 3: Start of the Nile Cruise in Luxor’s Eastern Bank

The third day of this tour will be the start of the Nile River Cruise. Begin the day with a hefty breakfast then transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to embark aboard the 5 star luxurious Nile Cruise, M/S Sonesta Star Goddess, staying on a Mozart or Beethoven suite. During the afternoon approaches prepare for an excursion with your personal and exclusive tour guide for a tour to the East Bank of the River Nile in Luxor. The east bank is home to the famous Karnak and Luxor Temples that reflect the bewitching Pharaonic history. Return to the ship for afternoon tea and dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 04: Luxor’s Western Bank

The West Bank of Luxor in Egypt is even more of an archaeological paradise than the East Bank. There you will be able to visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari, and the massive Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch & afternoon tea while sailing to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Dinner will be on board the ship as well as overnight stay.

 

Day 05: Edfu & Kom Ombo

Today for your luxurious tour of Egypt, you will spend it sailing to Edfu to see the most well preserved temple along the Nile River which is the Horus Temple. Return to the ship for lunch and sail further south to Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the twin temples shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship and continue sailing to Aswan. Dinner will be served on board as well as overnight on board while docked in Aswan.

 

Day 6: Day tour in Aswan

Aswan is Egypt’s southernmost city, and has always been known to be Egypt’s main gate to the rest of Africa. This day will be dedicated to tour around the city of Aswan. After breakfast spend the rest of the day sightseeing at the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk.  Sail aboard a felucca to visit the Botanical Garden in Elephantine Island. Return to your hotel for rest and overnight accommodation, like the same, lunch will be served during the day.

 

Day 7: Fly back to Cairo

Disembark after breakfast, you will then be picked up from cruise and transferred to Aswan airport to fly to back Cairo and prepare for the culmination of your Luxury Vacation in Egypt. At the airport you will be met by our representative to assist you your transfer to your hotel to where you will spend the night.

 

Day 8: Egyptian Museum and the Coptic Cairo

See the modern city of Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum home of more than 120,000 exhibits and antiques. These artifacts were discovered throughout time of excavating and digging ancient sites across Egypt. This is also the site of where the famous treasures of the child king Tutankhamen are being kept. Discover more of Egypt’s famous landmarks; visit the Christian heritage in Coptic Cairo including some of the early religious monuments of the city such as the hanging church or the suspended church. Towards the end of your day, return to your hotel to spend your night there.

 

Day 9: Optional tour of Alexandria

This day is set for a free time for leisure or you may go for an optional trip to Alexandria. Alexandria was known because of its lighthouse (Pharos), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. It is the sight of Pompey's Pillar, a monument of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, and Qaitbey Citadel built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the spot of Alexandria’s ancient lighthouse. From there proceed to see the grand Montazah Palace, which combines Turkish and Florentine architectural styles. The night will be spent in Cairo, breakfast and lunch will be included in this day tour.

 

Day 10: Homeward Bound

Your luxurious Egyptian tour will end with a breakfast at your hotel before transferring to Cairo Airport for departure.
