Day 1: Wednesday: Welcome to Egypt

Upon arrival at the Cairo International Airport a 123EgyptTours.com representative will welcome you and assist your needs for your entry to Egypt. You will then be transferred via an air-conditioned vehicle to the 5 star Le Meridien Pyramids Hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Thursday: Memphis and Giza Tour

After a hefty breakfast in your hotel, your personal tour guide will take you to Pharaonic Cairo to see the Step Pyramids and the amazing necropolis of Sakkara. After which proceed to Egypt’s former capital Memphis to visit the Statue of one of its most famous pharaoh Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

 

Your next destination will be towards the Egypt’s most famous monument. Wait to be captivated at the Giza Plateau to see the almighty Sphinx, a royal human head on a lion’s body, as well as the valley temple fronting it. The valley temple is two megalithic temples also known as the Sphinx Temple attributed to the King Chephren. Lunch will be served en route a specialty restaurant near the great pyramids. You will also be given free time to go around for shopping. For those who were not able to take the night out for the sound and light show at the Pyramids then this is your chance. Return to the hotel for some relaxation and free time.

 

Day 3: Friday: Egyptian Museum

Day 4: Saturday: Start of Dahabiya Cruise

Right after breakfast check out from your hotel in Cairo, then transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Luxor. When you get to Luxor you will be met by our representative to help you embark on a 5 star luxury cruise – Dahabiya, Sonesta Dahabiya Nile Cruise, this will be a week long cruise along the River Nile in Luxor get a luxuriously appointed Dahabiya. Right after lunch, enjoy an excursion to the West Bank with visits to the burial places of the Pharaohs; the Valley of the Kings, where Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamen in 1922. Continue to the adjacent Valley of the Queens, the temple of Medinet Habu and the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight will be spent while moored on the Nile banks of Luxor.

 

Day 5: Sunday:Enjoying Dahabiya Cruise

After enjoying a delectable breakfast, you can visit the magnificent temple of Amon-Ra at Karnak, with its huge hall filled with 137 columns, followed by the imposing 28th Dynasty Luxor Temple. The night will be spent on board the Dahabiya Cruise.

 

Day 6: Monday: Dahabiya Cruise Sails along Nile

You will also visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, a structure rescued from the rising waters of Lake Nasser at the time of the High Dam's construction.

 

Day 11: Saturday: End of the Dahabiya Cruise

Breakfast aboard the Dahabiya and then followed by disembarkation. After disembarking you will be transferred to Aswan Airport for departure to Cairo. Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, you will now be transfer to your hotel in Cairo for dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 12: Sunday: Last day in Egypt
